The Artist Jay Lonewolf Unveils His New Provocative Work "Wall Street Totem" at the
Mario Flores Gallery October 31
Miami, FL, October 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The artist Jay Lonewolf unveils his new work , the
provocative ”Wall Street Totem” at the Mario Flores Gallery, Miami , Florida on October 31, 2008,
6pm-11pm.
His recently completed new series of works depicts the current US economic crisis. The gifted
artist suffers from rod monochromacy or complete color blindness and the rarest and most
uncommon form. Lonewolf said his new work Wall Street Totem is “a statement about America's
current economic crisis and how it has spiraled into the largest financial shock since the Great
Depression.”
Lonewolf can see only in black and white or grayscale - shades of grey. His new series about the
climate on Wall Street explodes in vibrant colors and textures, spawning a 3D effect. It speaks to
your eyes and your hands to see and touch his work.
Jay Lonewolf has been featured in the Miami Herald, WTVJ-NBC 6 Miami, Miami Artzine,
lifeinthefastlane.com (http://www.lifeinthefastlane.ca/jay-lonewolf-morales-colorblind-painter-
extraordinaire/art&reffurl) and in numerous videos.
Gallery director Mario Flores is a photographer based in South Florida. He has been involved in
multiple projects such as SUYU Gallery and Rootz Gallery. His passion has led him to establish his
own gallery and studio in the art district of North Miami.
The new exhibit opens Friday, October 31, 2008 and kicks off at 6pm – 11pm. The exhibit
continues through November. The opening coincides with the Museum of Contemporary Art
(MOCA) monthly jazz night offering some of the city's finest art and music with free live jazz.
